Welcome to South Dayton Dance Theatre! SDDT is a non-profit organization that gives their members a glimpse of life as a professional dancer. The dancers are chosen through an audition process and they range in age from 11 to 18. They must dedicate themselves to taking ballet classes and modern classes, not to mention a rigorous rehearsal schedule. Throughout the year, the dancers get opportunities to perform throughout the Miami Valley, including a Spring Concert and, everyone’s holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.

South Dayton Dance Theatre’s objective is to train first class dancers in a fun and healthy atmosphere and to give them a taste of what being a professional dancer is all about.
